To Take a Life When a Life is Lost |
||
To Take a Life When a Life is Lost is an animated video that describes the experiences of family members of prisoners on death row. Family members describe their experiences in their own words. The work is animated to give anonymity to each individual involved. Our aim is to create vivid portraits of these families’ lives and help garner support to end the death penalty. Created in collaboration with Community Resource Initiative, a non-profit organization that works with capitally charged individuals and their families. Project supported by the Creative Work Fund, the San Francisco Arts Commission and the Arts Research Institute. |
